Executive chef Dino Georgakopoulos is a Melbourne born chef, second generation Australian. Dino has over 12 Years experience and started his cooking career with a  Catering company in Melbourne,
selling souvlaki at festivals and events. He then moved to Northern NSW in 2007 with his family, continuing catering at events and weddings. Dino and his wife, Kate have opened up two restaurants, one in Coolangatta and the other in Casuarina. In 2015
they started the building of Xenia Grill, and opened the doors in Feb 2016, and now
Xenia 2.0 is set to open in Casuarina NSW, October 2019.


Dino’s has been cooking since a little boy with his Greek family. Originally from Kastellorizo, a very small Island south east of
Athens, close to Turkey. Many of our cooking techniques and recipes have been derived from this area. Kastellorizo, being close to countries such as Lebanon, Turkey and Egypt, some of the food is quite unique to that Island.
Dino's Father is from Arta, North Western Greece, making his recipes and cooking style very unique. Come in and enjoy a piece of Greece right here in Casuarina or Coolangatta
